cl_Tower (One Script Jam)
A downloadable game for Windows
Climb to the top of Green Tower using abilities you find along the way. However, there's a twist: you can only carry one at a time! Better be ready to..... leave something behind!!!!!
Controls:
ESC - Quit
WASD - Move
Space - Use Ability
Made for One Script Jam, with the theme "Leave something behind." There is only one script in the game, and the only things that have it as a component are the player and the ability pickups.
- Credits are at the end (as shown in screenshots).
- The assets folder of the project is in the Downloads, for proof.
- The project's script is also included in Downloads on its own.
Further development would include ways for each ability to get through any given part, which would make leaving something behind more of a decision rather than a necessity.
Also, making the area horizontal as opposed to vertical would allow for much more variety in what the player can do.

Awesome work! The game is really cool!
I really like how much the different abilities impact the way you play through the level(s), and the fact that it's way more vertical than other platformers. I especially liked the section when the player was on stilts :D
This game is very well done the level design really shines and it really display the theme for the game jam very well, its quite nice how the level design compensates for the last section incase you do fall down.
Very little UI and no sound with this one but the level design very well makes up for it. Great work!
